Yes, this earth gonna vanished one day, probably the whole observable universe that we know with its all 4 dimensions: length, width, height, and time “spacetime” gonna collapse very soon (in less than one century… according to my own expectations).
But I do not believe that I have an end, why? because there is something inside me that is not limited by these 4 values x, y, z, and time.
When I met God I understood very well that I’ve been created on his image, I’ve been made to exist forever, I’m immortal, they call it “The spirit”, we can not apply the material physics/biological laws on my spirit, the spiritual level has its own laws, that’s why I’m immortal after the end of my biological body or the whole material universe.
I live for the current moment here on earth (some solar years 😏), but I have a part of me existing at the same time in another dimension, where death can not reach me!
p.s: all the “I” above doesn’t refer only to me who wrote this article, (I = Mankind) according to the writer’s point of view.
on the philosophical perspective, existing forever rises uncounted existential questions, in front of this challenge most people take one of the two common paths;
path 1: adopting a belief structure (total metaphysical faith without any proof nor personal supernatural experience) that can give it a solid form which could be recalled easily whenever these hard questions pop up on the surface, “logic be like: we have the easy-peasy let’s forget about it, problem solved”
Path 2: Simple denying, like a small kid who is facing a situation that he/she can not handle by closing his/her eyes and put his/her hands on ears and he/she feels safe… “logic be like: if I do not see or hear it, so it doesn’t exist, I shouldn’t face what doesn’t exist!!”
for me, the two paths are just the two faces of the same coin
The only way to reach the truth about life, death, and afterlife is by being connected to the one who created me, in my case GOD gave me the validation the authenticity of the answers of these big questions (which I summarized in the first paragraph) , I searched for the truth and the truth found me,,,
Christ Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32)
How poor who did not yet unlock the dimension of infinity, this visible material world is just a reflection or shadow of the big story, Only the truth could set the one free from “Plato’s Cave”
I could simply go out this tiny, limited, and darky place by following the light of the world (one of Jesus nicknames) and not living inside the cave only staring at the shadow of the reflections (material)
